Aster — Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Aster mobile app and the Aster pages on app.brainbloomer.com (together, "Aster"), operated by Benetti Corporation, a Texas C-Corporation ("Benetti", "we", "us"). By installing or using Aster you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Aster.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Aster. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Aster only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

Aster identifies you by the email address you enter during onboarding. There is no password. Keep your email account secure: anyone with access to it can restore a subscription tied to that address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter, including your birth details — an incorrect birth date produces an incorrect chart.

4. What Aster provides

Aster computes a natal chart from the birth details you give it and generates a daily reading that draws on Western astrology, Four Pillars, tarot and numerology. Chart calculations are astronomical and deterministic. The reading text is generated by an AI model and will vary between runs; it may contain errors, and it is not a factual statement about you, your health, your finances or your future.

We may change, add or remove features, traditions or reading formats at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Aster for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Aster, our backend, or another user's account;
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or the servers behind it;
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-extract readings, chart data or other content by automated means;
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute Aster or its content without our written permission;
• Present readings as professional advice to other people.

6. Subscriptions and payment

6.1 How you are billed

Aster offers a free tier and a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, or — where a web checkout is offered — by Stripe. The price, billing period and currency shown at the point of purchase are the ones that apply. We never see or store your card details.

6.2 Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until cancelled. Your store account is charged at each renewal.

6.3 Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled in your device's subscription settings — we cannot cancel them for you. A Stripe web subscription can be cancelled from the customer portal linked in the app. On cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; the subscription then stops and is not renewed.

6.4 Refunds

Payments already made are not refunded, including for unused portions of a billing period. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple's and Google's own refund policies, which those companies administer and which we do not control.

6.5 Price changes

We may change prices. A change applies to your subscription only from a renewal that follows notice given through the app or by your app store, as that store's rules require.

7. Intellectual property

Aster, its software, design, prompts and generated content are owned by Benetti Corporation and protected by copyright and trademark law. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Aster for your own non-commercial use. Your birth details remain yours.

8. Availability

Aster depends on our backend and on third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and a reading may be unavailable if the generation provider fails. Aster is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benetti Corporation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any decision you make on the basis of a reading. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for Aster in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Aster at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use Aster in a way that harms the service or other users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. The updated version is posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Aster after a change means you accept it.
