BrainBlitz — Terms of Service
BrainBlitz, for Android and iOS (com.brainbloomer.brainblitz).
Last updated: September 7, 2026
BrainBlitz is practice, not assessment. Words-per-minute and comprehension figures are estimates produced by a training drill on your phone. They are not a clinical, educational or diagnostic measurement, and they should not be used to assess a reading difficulty, place a student, or make any decision that a qualified professional should make.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the BrainBlitz mobile app and the BrainBlitz pages on
app.brainbloomer.com (together, "BrainBlitz"), operated by Benetti Corporation, a Texas
C-Corporation ("Benetti", "we", "us"). By installing or using BrainBlitz you agree to these Terms. If you do
not agree, do not use BrainBlitz.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use BrainBlitz. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use BrainBlitz only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. No account
BrainBlitz does not require an account. Your progress, scores and preferences live on your device, which has two consequences you should know about: we cannot recover them if you lose or reset the device, and they do not follow you to a new one.
4. What BrainBlitz provides
BrainBlitz gives you guided reading drills — rapid serial visual presentation, eye-movement exercises and comprehension checks — over passages that ship inside the app. We may add, change or remove drills, passages and features at any time. Reading speed gains vary between people; we make no promise about the results you will get.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use BrainBlitz for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to BrainBlitz or our backend;
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or the servers behind it;
- Extract, copy or redistribute the passage library or the drill engine;
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute BrainBlitz without our written permission;
- Circumvent the subscription check or misuse the purchase-restore flow.
6. Health and safety
Some drills flash text rapidly and involve sustained eye movement. Stop if you feel eye strain, headache, dizziness or discomfort. Do not use BrainBlitz while driving or doing anything else that needs your attention. If you have a photosensitive condition, a seizure disorder, or a diagnosed vision or reading condition, consult a qualified professional before using rapid-presentation drills.
7. Subscriptions and payment
7.1 How you are billed
BrainBlitz offers free use and a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed and managed by Google Play, the Apple App Store, or — where a web checkout is offered — Stripe. The price, billing period and currency shown at the point of purchase are the ones that apply. We never see or store your card details.
7.2 Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until cancelled.
7.3 Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. Google Play and App Store subscriptions are cancelled in your device's subscription settings — we cannot cancel them for you. On cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; the subscription then stops and is not renewed.
7.4 Refunds
Payments already made are not refunded, including for unused portions of a billing period. Purchases made through Google Play or the Apple App Store are subject to Google's and Apple's own refund policies, which those companies administer and which we do not control.
7.5 Restoring a purchase
Because BrainBlitz has no account, a subscription is tied to your store account and to the install. If a reinstall loses it, use the restore option in Settings; for a web purchase you may be asked for the email address you used at checkout so we can find the subscription.
7.6 Price changes
We may change prices. A change applies to your subscription only from a renewal that follows notice given through the app or by your app store, as that store's rules require.
8. Intellectual property
BrainBlitz, its software, design, drill engine and passage library are owned by Benetti Corporation or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use BrainBlitz for your own non-commercial use.
9. Availability
Drills run on your device, but subscription checks and configuration depend on our backend and on third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. BrainBlitz is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benetti Corporation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any decision you make on the basis of a score the app reports. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for BrainBlitz in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using BrainBlitz at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use BrainBlitz in a way that harms the service or other users.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms. The updated version is posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of BrainBlitz after a change means you accept it.
